From Monday 2 to Friday 11 September 2026, Château de La Brède in Gironde closed its doors to the public for an exceptional nine-day closure. The reason? An international-scale shoot that began on 7 September, involving technicians, extras in medieval costumes, and substantial technical equipment. While the film’s title remains officially confidential, converging clues strongly suggest a live-action adaptation of Tangled, Disney’s 2010 animated classic. One thing is certain: the Gothic manor where Montesquieu was born in 1689 reopened to the public on 12 September, with sets and crews already dismantled.
