Crumbling walls, a church without a roof for decades: the castellas of Roquemartine, a ruined fortress perched above Eyguières in the Alpilles, completed at the end of 2025 a multi-year restoration. Chosen in 2022 as an emblematic site in the Bouches-du-Rhône by the Mission Patrimoine, it secured €500,000 to reinforce its ramparts and save the Saint-Sauveur church attached to it.
